About the Role
As an ML/AI Data Engineer, you will power the intelligence layer of digital transformation within smart manufacturing environments. Your role is crucial in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that feed AI and machine learning models used to transform factories into data-driven ecosystems.
You’ll work at the intersection of industrial data and advanced analytics, enabling everything from predictive maintenance and process optimization to digital twins and autonomous operations. This is your chance to turn raw operational data into real-time intelligence for the factories of the future.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or similar technical field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or machine learning engineering
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and frameworks such as PySpark, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and industrial data ingestion (OPC-UA, MQTT, REST APIs)
- Knowledge of time-series data and manufacturing data models (e.g., ISA-95)
- Ability to build and maintain data lakes and real-time streaming pipelines
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI deployment
- Strong communication skills in Dutch/English/French
- Passion for digitalisation and industrial data
